Overview
Bangkok, the funds of Thailand, is a rattling mash of affluent Siam practice and up-to-dateness. The metropolitan feels enormous, and some its crowdedness and its knotty net of bus, train, and railway line routes add to that result. Bangkok's technical district, Sukhumvit, and the city's center, Siam Square, are full near malls, department stores, restaurants, and storeyed buildings. South of Sukhumvit is Silom, a economic dominion by day and, by night, a touristed put down for consumption and symptom. North of Silom is Rattanakosin. Bordering the Chao Phraya River, Rattanakosin is the matrimonial of the Grand Palace, Wat Po, Khao San Road, and the National Museum. West of the river is Thonburi, a strange end for its convoluted systems of canals and displays of past buildings. North of Thonburi is Phahonyothin, the site of the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
